Mansun was a rockmusic band formed in chesterin 1995 by vocalist/rhythm guitarist Paul Draper, lead guitarist/backing vocalist , bassist and drummer . They came to prominence in the mid nineties British indie/guitar rock resurgence (which also saw the emergence of bands such as Oasis, Sleeper, The Bluetones, and Kula Shakeramong others). Their first album Attack of the Grey Lanterncould easily have been lost amidst the wave of new music in the British ( britpop)scene at that time if it had not been for the majestic .
